Do you need to know Latin to become a Lawyer?
Not at all. Habeus Corpus, in Latin, simply means "having a body." It means that a prisoner has their own body and is allowed to defend it. Lawyers only need to know the legal meaning of it.
You would learn the Latin phrases as simply technical terms, just as you would if you studied biology with its Latin taxonomy names.
You need to live in New York or L.A. If you don't live in these locations, you probably won't become an entertainment lawyer. You usually need to know someone so get to know the other attorneys in town. You should also help out budding young actors for free. This will tie you into a relationship that could pay off later on.
