No you don't. The only person that should pull the foreskin back is the child himself, as he knows when to stop. By forcibly pulling back the foreskin at any age you may cause damage to the glans and the inner lining of the foreskin as well as opening an avenue for infection and pain as a result of exposure to feces and pain as a result of exposure to his own urine. As for hygiene the penis takes care of that itself. you need only wash that part of the penis that is exposed. st leave it alone and it will be fine.

No NO NO

The foreskin*of most newborn boys is stuck to the glans and cannot be retracted. Forcible retraction can result in tearing, scarring and infection, with the result that circumcision may become medically necessary because of the consequent damage. A boy will retract his foreskin when he is ready to do so, and it is normal for this to happen any time between the ages of 3 and mid-teens. After the foreskin has become retractable boys either know instinctively or can be shown how to gently retract and wash underneath it with water. Diluted soap can help with cleaning, but it must be thoroughly rinsed away so as to avoid irritation of the foreskin's sensitive inner surface. Too much soap can cause skin problems, such as eczema, that used to be blamed on the foreskin

How do men clean their penises?

Keeping penis clean is very important. 1.) Gently pull the foreskin back. 2.) Rinse with warm water only. Soap under the foreskin can cause irritation and swelling. 3.) Pull the foreskin back in place over the head of your penis. Circumcised men can directly use warm water and soap and clean it carefully.

What do doctors check for when you go to a check up to see if you need a circumcision or not?

If the foreskin is too tight or not, if it can be pulled back so you can clean under it.

How do you treat a circumcised baby?

Never pull the infant's foreskin back. This can cause serious injury and tissue damage. Boys' foreskins will naturally retract on their own, which may be as late as the teenage years. The skin actually protects from dirt and bacteria. However, if the penis gets red or white stuff develops inside the foreskin, use a little bit of palmers coco butter.

Can a boy's foreskin grow back after circumcision?

Never.

When you pull back your foreskin there are white bits what are they and is it healthy?

Sounds like smegma. It's not altogether unhealthy, but is definitely unhygienic and unattractive. Make sure you clean under there at least daily.

What could happen if a boy's penile foreskin is forced back too early?

The foreskin of an uncircumsized newborn should NEVER be pulled back; it is a myth and it is dangerous to do this. It should never be forced back by a parent, no matter what the reason the parent has. Keep your hands off of it. Tissues of the glans penis and of the covering foreskin are not yet differentiated, and the foreskin should be left alone. Some physicians consider that an unretracted foreskin can be normal and non-problematic even as late as puberty. Yes, there can be problems with the foreskin, but pathological phimosis (a medically problematic unretractable foreskin) is virtually NEVER a competent diagnosis at birth.AnswerThe foreskin does not retract at birth. Forcing it back at this age can cause tearing and scarring meaning it will be difficult to retract in the future.

Do you have to pull the skin back on an uncircumsized penis?

You may pull the skin back of an uncircumsized penis (called the foreskin) in your hygiene routine (in order to clean the glans during the shower) or during certain sexual activities. Otherwise, it is not mandatory...

When is medical care required for phimosis?

If the foreskin cannot be pulled back into place treatment should be sought. If the blood flow to the penis is restricted then emergency treatment is required and if the foreskin cannot be pulled back a surgical cut to the trapped foreskin may be needed

Where would one find the frenulum?

If it is doing what it is supposed to do. which is cause the foreskin to move back over the glans of the penis when it is flaccid. it is easily distinguishable when puling the foreskin right back as a separate chord like entity that reaches from the glans to the foreskin for about 15mm until it seems to blend back into the foreskin. so it is not actually tight at all it only becomes tight when the foreskin is pulled back. the tightens of the frenulum may well be associated with the tightness of the foreskin round the penis itself. loosen the foreskin and you loosen the frenulum.
