Do you need to re-sync a used computer from the exact same model 96 Chrysler Sebring LX or is it just the newer models that have to be resynced HELP?

It may not work. If both the original and used computers do not have the same theft alarm setting it will not run. It will also cause the body computer to lock in to theft no start.

Just tried to find a fan shroud for a 98 Sebring Convertible and found that only fit from 1996 to 2000 models. Possibly the motors were also specific to those model years. Nothing in the jjunkyard event came close. Had to order from the dealer.
