I don't think it's all about pomade because people use all types of products to wave their hair. When using pomade to get waves it's all about "training" your hair. What you should be asking is how pomade is made because I've tried Vaseline and warm/hot water to wave my hair and it works. Getting waves is all about texture and what you do to maintain the waves regardless of the products used (Pomade, Vaseline, lotion, etc.). I've asked one young black lady on my job about how she trained her hair to get waves everyday. She said "What, all I do is wet my hair." Some people have a very nice hair texture and get more defined waves just by wetting their hair. So, it really doesn't matter what ingredients are in the pomade because the manufacturer pr person uses the right mix or a certain percentage of ingredients for wave formation. If you really want to know what ingredient waves black hair in wave pomade, you can contact the manufacturer and you may find it by searching the web.
at night you put SeaSick pomade in your hair and keep brushing it in 360 pattern then you put wave cap on wake up and brush hair. www.how2getwaves.com
Yes, you can indeed get waves without utilizing a durag or wave cap. You simply need to invest time in moisturizing, conditioning, and vigorously brushing your hair. Waves require a lot of brushing.idk wat this guy is talkin bout but u dont need to brush your hair alot for waves brush it three times a day for 10 min and use 360 wave grease and wear a durag alot and you will see resultswrong well i got waves with out do rag or wave cap constantly grease and brush or comb but brush to keep them so i agree with the first one correctsecond one needs help.

you can use it : get some grease ( blue magic ) and rub in in your hair day or night and brush you can use it without wave builder
Answer given by a member of the community: yes because it helps moisturized the waves so it can dry out so the waves can breath instead of 360 wave grease
