Halo: CE and Halo 2 on the Xbox are not shipped with any means of being able to take screenshots. If you'd like to take screenshots on the Xbox versions of these games, look into purchasing a capture card. Halo: CE and Halo 2 on the PC are also devoid of a system for taking screenshots, but your computer itself has exactly what you need. Whenever you wish to take a screenshot, press the "Print Screen" key. Then, open up a program such as Photoshop or Gimp, create a new file, and simply paste.
if you sign your xbox live account to bungie.net you can go to theater on halo 3 and take a screen shot of your previous game then it will automatically save to your bungie account and then you can sign in to your bungie account , view them then do what ever you want with your pics. Press the F1 key on your keyboard to take a screenshot. It's worth mentioning that screenshots can and will overwrite older screenshots. As I recall, you can only take a maximum of five screenshots before older screenshots will be overwritten -- ie, WQscreenshot1 through WQscreenshot5. Taking a sixth screenshot will overwrite WQscreenshot1.It's best to rename screenshots you want to keep.
To take screenshots, you click "F1", depending on your computer, you may need to hold "Fn" at the same time.
