You should answer this question honestly. There are merits to both types of work environments and employees who prefer them.

If asked this question in a job interview, answer honestly. If you enjoy working with other people to achieve a group goal, then you likely do see yourself as a team player. If not, and you prefer to be alone, work alone, and celebrate alone, then you likely do not see yourself as a team player.
Say you prefer, and work efficiently in both environments. However, you can appreciate the fact that even when you are working on an individual project, the end product will impact the team and organization as a whole. Because of that, you always work for the best interest of the team. As for working individually mention that you are self motivated and work well with deadlines. Things like that. Hope that helps! :) Good luck! If you prefer working alone, look for jobs that allow you to work alone. If you prefer to work with other people, look for jobs that allow you to work with other people.
Well! It depends upon the group I am going to work ;)
All depends on preference. If you prefer team-work style gameplay, then you might want Battlefield. If you like working alone (even though you're on a team) then you might like Call of Duty.
I am designed to work effectively with people by providing support, information, and guidance. It is my goal to assist users in finding the information they need quickly and efficiently.
A sense of accomplishment when the job is done and done well.
You do both. Some tasks require working in a team but others are done alone.
That sort of depends on the job you are going for, but for the most part be honest without being negative towards what you don't prefer to do. I think an excellent employee needs to be good at both. Try to learn as much as you can about the job. What does it involve on a day-to-day basis and how much will you need to work independently as opposed to collaborating with others? For most jobs, you will need to do some combination of both. The interviewer will want to hear that you derive satisfaction from doing good work on your own and enjoy the opportunity to focus on tasks, while you also thrive in a team and benefit from the interaction with colleagues. It's no contradiction to enjoy both. Working as part of a team is essential sometimes. A group dynamic can be very productive and creative. You can bounce ideas off one another and learn from each other's experience. At other times you can be much more productive on your own. The balance will depend very much on the job you're interviewing for. Honestly, I hope, but you can hedge a little: "I like to work with a group, but have a part of the project that is my personal responsibility." Of course, if you are applying for a position as a lighthouse keeper, you definitely prefer to work alone. If you are going to Antarctica, you definitely want to be a team player.
To me, I really prefer to work individually cos i think that it can make myself more independent and leadership. Why I say like this, as you know, working only ourselves lead you to build independent, everything you can depend on your need, goal, and desires. Moreover, always working by yourself provide you the way how to control yourself. If you can control yourself to be a good man, it means that you will be become a good leader regarding your ex-individual experiences. Thus, working individually is not only build the independent, but all it can lead us to success in leadership.
Team orientation means that members work together on projects and prefer to not work as individuals. An example of this is a police department working via team orientation to keep neighborhoods safe.
