It all depends on the space between your teeth.
They're rubber bands that separate you teeth so you'll have more room when you get braces on. You will usually have them on for a week then you get braces. If you have any questions about it, call your orthadontist for all the info you need about spacers or your braces.
I am 15 and I wear braces so I know what they are for and when you should get them. You only need them when the orthodontist has trouble attaching the back part of the braces onto your molars. Spacers push on the teeth to make room for this device.
It depends on if your braces require a metal band or not on the back teeth. I didn't get them at first, but my back brackets kept falling off, so they put spacers in and a week later they put in metal bands. It really depends on the orthodontist.
to get braces quick, dont see your dentist about it. go straigh to a orthodontist. they will need to see if you are ready first, and if you are they will give you spacers for about a week (PAINFULLL!) then when you come in they may just give you top, or bottom or they may give you both. sometimes they only put the brackets on at first
Well if you want braces you can't really get them but if you need braces you have to go into an orthidontis
I went to the dentist in June and my dentist said I need braces but my parents ignore me every time I remind them of braces
I dont think you can take your braces off yourself i think you need to go to a orthadontist
you need braces if your teeth are really crooked and then your orthadonditcs will tell you if you need braces that's what happend to me and im getting them today!!!!!! today is 2/22/2011 yeah!!!!!
They are little flossed chips that are put in between your teeth that need spacing. They connect with a wire bracket across the roof of your mouth....or below. Spacers are the worst part of the whole process in getting braces. They will hurt for about 6 hours after they are put in. Only your orthodontist can tell you that. Everybodies teeth are different meaning each person will need differented treatments, different kind of braces, length needed, and other treatments, such as a retainer and spacers. But the average cost of braces is $5,000 for a two year full treatment.
Unfortunately you may need to get spacers or braces. But if it's a little gap it'll close up on it's own.
people who dont need braces or any other things to straighten their teeth
