As of right now (2011) you cannot get the iPhone if you have T-Mobile. Well not legally. There is a software that you can download that allows you to have the iPhone. This software IS ILLEGAL and I do not recommend using it.

I would highly recommend the Iphone as it is one of the best on the market but if you are firm on not getting one I would recommend the Motorola Droid. It has apps and alot of the feature of the Iphone plus it has a real keyboard.

I would recommend an Iphone with a contract with Bell or Koodo. Bell gives you the Iphone when you buy a contract of three years. Koodo is cheaper, but you need to buy the Iphone.

I'm pretty sure that the white version of the Apple iPhone 4S would be better than the black version of the Apple iPhone 4S because the black iPhone 4S is known for getting hotter much faster than the white iPhone 4S, and you can see the white iPhone 4S much easier than the black iPhone 4S. The price is the same for both iPhone 4S models. You can get both models of the iPhone 4S at Best Buy from $50-$200, depending on if you do or don't have a new 2-year contact or not. If you have Virgin Mobile (which I don't recommend), the iPhone 4S is $450 (very expensive, not worth it). I'd recommend either iPhone 4S model if you don't have a lot of money and don't like a larger screen (iPhone 5).

Yes, unless it is "jailbroken" which is a violation of Apple's warranty. I wouldn't recommend jailbreaking it.
