I think that shaymin's forms are exclusive to platinum as they require a giveaway from a Nintendo event. If it wasnt built into platinum pearl/diamond then you wont be able to change its form. It would be like trying to trade across Pokemon to lower generation games which don't support that Pokemon. If the method for doing it in platinum doesnt work then you simply cant do it.

Well...you can't. The event is over so you JUST CAN'T. If you HACK (not cheat) on the PC that is illegally obtaining Pokemon. Don't try it. Or get Pokemon ranger and import it. None reqire codes - but DARKRAI and SHAYMIN are obtainable in this way - DARKRAI & SHAYMIN - get the walk anywhere cheat. DARKRAI - go to CRESSELIA's island. then run accross the water to New Moon Island (in > direction). go into the cave and you will enter Nightmare Spring. there is a black shape there. press A on it. DARKRAI is at level 40. SHAYMIN - go to Pokemon league. walk out in > direction, go to rt. 224. run behind the white fossil rock. the first SHAYMIN is a decoy. run behind it, all the way to the top of the map (it is longer than route 223 - it helps if you use your bike). there will be a level 30 SHAYMIN.
