well most people say turn off the light but you could say switch of the light.
You say "turn on the light" because that is what you do. Turning on a light means to flip the electric switch from "off" (where there is no electricity and the light is dark) to "on" (where there is electricity and the light is glowing).
Say it is a power circuit, a light bulb is bright from the battery, flowing through the wires and the light bulb. There is a switch controling the power that goes through, so if you switched the off switch off, the power will no longer be flowing through(the light bulb wouldn't be bright any longer). I have never seen a bathroom light switch with a cord hanging from it and I've seen a lot of bathrooms. But if i had to guess. I'd probably say to turn them off. Electricity is conducted very easily through water. So if you let water run from your wet hands into a light switch in a bathroom there is a chance you could get a shock, even get killed. So some bathrooms have the switch on the roof with a long string to turn it on and off. So there is no chance of water getting to the switch.
I would say recycle. some simpler things would be turn the lights off when you leave a room, turn the water off while brushing your teeth. Another thing would to switch to energy efficient light bulbs.
"Switch it off" is what we say in America.
On the back of the switch or on the bottom I forget now ther is a little button push it in and pull the light switch shaft off. take the panel off in front of the switch. take the nut off holding the switch in . after you put the new switch in just push the headlight switch shaft back in. I just want to say you might not have to take the panel off in front of switch
Can't say for sure on the 2007, but my 2000 has a rocker switch at the top of the steering column to turn the parking lights on when the key is off.
brake lights say lit after ignition has been shut off. lights shut off after hitting the brakes.
a light switch is 'un interrupteur' (masc.) or familiarly 'le bouton'
Does it have the light switch where you turn it clockwise two clicks or so to turn on the lights? If so then turn the headlights on then pull the dial gentle out. If the light switch is on the column then it is usually on the end and you pull the end out to turn them on. Then others will have a switch on the dash that will say fog light or something to that affect. Sorry, but I have worked on so many different model years it is almost impossible to remember exactly what year did what. I sure hope I helped some. Good luck.
It does work all you have to do is say bratz black into the mic at the bottom by alarm on off and it it does work turn the light on then off
What I know as the multifunction switch is the switch for your turn signals / wipers etcetera so the switch is inside your steering column cover with the turn signal lever ( and you don't say what year , so possibly your hazard flasher on / off button ) sticking outside the steering wheel column cover
