I would recommend that teenagers take a shower after gym class or at least wash up a bit after class. Packing wet wipes for class is a good idea to be able to wash up quickly after class and also bringing some deodorant and/or body spray is also a great idea.

Can you go swimming after perming your hair?
no you cannot. i recently had the keratin treatment done. my stylist told me not to wash my hair for 4 nights. this gives the chemicals time to change your hair. my stylist gave me special shampoo and conditioner to use when the 4 nights is done. so NO you CANNOT go swimming because this would make some of the chemicals come out while swimming, and a lot more to come out when you wash your hair after swimming. hope this helped=]

Yes but only with the same gender actually, just completed 9 weeks at Halton, you communal shower with the same gender after p.ed if you don't have time to go back to your accomodation and you shower at the gym, or after a swimming p.ed session which happened twice for me. when at the block there is cubicalled showers

Do bromine pools cause damage hair?
YES! I was told by the people at the gym I go to that their pool is treated with bromine, which is gentler on your hair and skin. However, even after only swimming in their pool once or twice, my skin was itchy and my hair had a weird film on it. My hair is dry and tangly and for some reason I can't seem to get the residue off. I've tried both UltraSwim for pool hair and a clairifying shampoo. Bromine treated pools do cause hair damage and they make your hair feel like crap. Wear a swim cap!
