Absolutely...more than ever in fact!
The withholding is only done as an estimate of the tax due...and generally is more than enough to protect the Gov't from the actual tax that will be determined by the filing of the return. Hence, you need to include the distribution and reflect the credit for the amount of tax already paid (the withheld amount) and will likely get a refund.
Yes but report you hav efound it again.
Answer is YES! If you have taxes withheld from the UIB amount you still have to put the amount on your 1040 and add the withheld taxes to other withheld taxes.
I am over 65, and on Medicare. I am also still working, and being paid wages. FICA- Med is still withheld from my paycheck. You should expect that as well.
Yes, #1, you must file no matter what was withheld. #2 you just fill a zero on your fed withheld slot, or if the slot is blank that is a zero as well.
YES the taxable amount of the distribution is added to all of your other gross worldwide income on your 1040 federal income tax return and taxed at your marginal tax rate. If you are under the age of 59 1/2 and you do NOT meet any of the exemption form the 10% early withdrawal penalty then the 10% early withdrawal penalty will also apply to the taxable amount of the distribution. You will get a credit for the 20% amount that was withheld from your distribution amount as an advance payment of any possible taxes that would be due. When your 1040 federal income tax return is completed correctly the withheld amount will be entered on page 2 of the 1040 income tax return line 61 Federal income tax withheld from Forms W-2 and 1099 line 61 $$$$ amount.
If you fail two classes on the same report card, then I don't think so. But if they were on two different report cards, then you might still have a chance. Also, if you have already had to repeat a grade, they will never hold you back again.
You need a lawyer for the correct and legal answer based on your specifics
I have had the truth withheld from me. The person who withheld the truth did not come clean, I discovered it by accident. I find it harder to know the truth was withheld (vs outright lying). I am confused. Do I really now know the whole truth now or is there more being withheld? If he withheld once, what's to say he isn't still withholding more? There is no resolution. I will always wonder. To withhold truth is taking away someone's options. You are designing the outcome of the situation by steering them with incomplete information. This is selfish.
No, adjudication withheld does not mean expungement. When adjudication is withheld, it means that the court has not entered a formal conviction but may still hold the case open under certain conditions, such as probation. Expungement, on the other hand, is a legal process that removes a conviction or arrest from a person's criminal record entirely. While adjudication withheld can sometimes lead to the possibility of expungement, they are distinct legal concepts.
You can sue if its worth the time and money since filing a small claims still costs around 150.00, but there has to be a reason, If he withheld some for damage(s) he can prove, he is within his rights. You also have to think about a reference. Unless you already have a place guaranteed you will stay a while and they have already checked you out-he can hurt you on a future rental if things got nasty.
It still is on your record, only it does not show up as a conviction, you are just not declared guilty of the offense.
You need a lawyer that practices in Florida. If you are pending final outcome of the case, no.
