dharma guru shatan curry loot
guru is sanskrit for mentor or teacher
I think you are referring to Guru Nanak don't bother asking me ask YOUR NAN!
i think he jumped of a building
Guru Nanak, the founder of the faith. Guru means teacher so I think that is the answer you're looking for
The difference between thinking you found your Guru and finding your Guru is only clear after you actually find your Guru. When you think 'could this be my Guru?' you may need to keep looking. My personal advice is that before you think seriously about this question you need to be both relatively stable and committed to the path. If not all kinds of strange ideas can emerge. Also consider asking the most reliable and experienced Buddhist you know.
i think that anybody could have done it but it does not matter beacause all sikhs love guru nanak
The Guru Granth Sahib is the embodiment of all the of previous gurus, Guru Gobind Singh Ji commanded that the Guru Granth Sahib be our guru after him. The Guru Granth Sahib isn't though of as a book, it is thought of as a Guru, a person. Notice that the Guru Granth Sahib does not have page number, but aangs (body parts). As every indiviudual has a room in which they sleep, the Guru Granth Sahib has a room to rest in as well.
I think you mean "gurudwara". This is a temple that Sikh people go to.
The first time Guru Granth Sahib Ji was compiled was in 1604 A.D by Guru Arjan Dev Ji and it was further compiled and eventually made the eternal Guru of Sikhs in 1708 A.D by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The Guru Granth Sahib was founded 300 years ago. I think it might be 1600. I am not sure!!!
