There is an overlap in salary ranges, but in general neurosurgeons earn more than pharmacists. There is a direct correlation between the number of years of schooling required and the salary a professional can command. Becoming a surgeon of any stripe takes many more years than becoming a pharmacists, so they can ask for much higher salaries.
