Yes, it is completely a good idea, you never know when a stranger could come and ask them to come here or something. Better safe than sorry as the saying goes.
i think it came from the movie ice age
Once you no longer think of him/her as a stranger. :)
Augustus thought the stranger was Death personified. He believed the stranger had come to take him away, as symbolized by the scythe he carried.
It is not uncommon to have some anxiety when meeting a total stranger especially if it is one on one conversation or one sided. If you are in a group and there is a stranger there and they try to make conversation with you then you are safe because your other friends of there. It is far wiser to be suspicious of strangers and have a little anxiety over it rather than trust every stranger you meet. If you obsess over it and think every stranger you may meet at a party or some social event is a danger to you then you need to engage in conversation with them if they start the conversation and stay with other people at the social event so you will feel safe. Many people are strangers before they become friends or lovers.
well...when they think danger is coming, they spray there ink..or when they're in danger!!
No I think teaching by parables was a common way of teaching then.
This is what I think. Don't do it unless it is a stranger to you, but your friends or family know them. If they are, then just take it slow and see where it takes you.
The stranger is a divine being like a god or Titan. So, because he wanted to help the mortal.
