To use a fishing pole, first attach a fishing reel to the pole and spool it with line. Next, tie on a hook and bait it appropriately for the type of fish you’re targeting. Cast the line by swinging the pole back and then forward, releasing the line at the peak of the swing. Finally, wait for a fish to bite, then set the hook by pulling the rod upward and reel in the catch.
