yes
DOT 3 power steering fluid.
No, you can't. You are suppose to put transmission fluid in power steering system.
The manual states GM power steering fluid DOT 3
Power steering fluid is what allow a driver to have full control of a hydraulic steering system. The proper power steering fluid used in a Toyota Camry DOT 3.
no, brake fluid is not the same as power steering fluid, make sure you actually get the right stuff. and double check what type of brake fluid you have (dot 3/ dot 5) because there is a difference there too
Dot 3 Brake fluid
Many dealerships use Dot 3 Brake fluid. HOWEVER, that is not recommended because Dot 3, being made for brakes, isn't the best for power steering pumps. Dot 3 can make power steering pumps go bad really fast. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dot 3 BRAKE FLUID! USE DEXTRON II. Dextron II is designed for power steering.
Engine - 5w30 Trans - Mopar ATF+4 Brake - DOT 3 Coolant - green Power steering - power steering fluid AC - R134a
It should say right on the cap for the brake fluid. Usually DOT 3. Power steering should say as well, but there are plenty of multi compatible fluids.
The 1993 through 1995 J-30 takes transmission oil in the power steering unit. I know... it was strange the first time I found this out.
