If you decide to change signal devices on your vehicle be sure to keep them within local regulation. Failure to do so may cost more than a ticket. This includes towing fees and restoring the vehicle to factory with an inspection.
There should be a coin box thing beneath the drivers side where the A/C blows. Its behind that. -Lj702
Any time you have an strange problem with lights it is a poor ground. Your tail lights are back feeding through the brake lights instead of going to ground. I would start by running a jumper wire to the tail light and brake light ground and I would guess the problem would be fixed. You might also want to look at your break light failure indicator. It commonly goes bad in these models.
It depends on the level of inspection, more than likely they will inspect the following: both headlights tail lights all blinkers brake lights reverse lights seatbelts They usually do not inspect the actual safety of the car itself.
Answer- just replaced headlight switch on 1993 merc.grd.marq. took care of no tailights, no dash lights.you have a bad ignition switchOR, the wiring behind the headlight switch assembly might be bad, the harness can have warped or cracked and/or the wires may have come loose or otherwise lost their connection. Inspecting the wiring for the headlight switch would be the first step if it only occurs when you want the headlights or parking lights on, and the headlamps work but not the gauge cluster lights nor the tail lights, BUT, the brake lights still work.
This is for a 1993 Chevy S-10 Pickup (caveat- NON expert- shade tree mechanic :)I never found the buzzer- it's 'somewhere' under the dash. My hearing isn't good enough to pinpoint the sound's origin, especially while assuming the obgyn position under the dash. What I want to contribute is, for my car, the "Headlight Warn Buzzer" should, imho,be named- the tail light warning buzzer. Tail lights (running lights, side markers, YMMV :) come on with the headlights, but have separate fuse/wiring. The buzzer is powered by the TAIL light circuit.btw, for instrument lights out, check TWO fuses: The "Inst Light" fuse, and (you guessed it:) the "TAIL light" fuse.Moral of the story- tail lights power much more than just . . . tail lightshth
LEDs are mostly used for two things: illumination and indication.Illumination means to "shine light onto something" - like a flashlight or headlights. You want your headlights to be bright as heck.Indication mean to "point something out" - like a turn signal or brake lights on a car. You don't want your car's turn signal to blind people!
come to me and call 888 and you tell me how you want it and it cost only few millions of dollors
The best person to check with is your local autoparts store. If they do not carry the lights you want you will be able to ask them where the best place would be to find exactly what you want.
What do you hope to achieve by rewiring them? Are they not working, or you want them to work differently, or???
Check the bulb. If it didn't help check wires around the tail light. Also you might want to check the fuse box for failed fuses.
First thing you want to check is the dimmer switch to see if it is turned all the way down.
If you are parked and you want to here the radio without the Automatic headlights on. Some times if you engage the parking brake it will turn off the automatic head lights.
