no i actually recommend it on magicarp.
Type your answer here... If you give it to a weaker Pokemon and fight with a stronger one the weaker one will receive half the EXP.
give the Pokemon you want to train an exp share then put your strong Pokemon first on your team and train on high leveled Pokemon the Pokemon with the exp share should level up by itself!
All you have to do is just put a pokemon (preferrably a level 100, or at least your highest leveled pokemon) in the front of your party, and give the pokemon you want to train up the exp. share. Then it will get a share of the exp. points. The reason you would want a level 100 in front is because then the pokemon holding the experience share will get 100% of the exp.
exp. share
use the exp share
The way I train them is you should battle them with rock or ground types and if you know your Pokemon is going to beat them then let them hold the exp. share to double their exp. points.
give the exp share to a weak Pokemon when you use any Pokemon to fight exp goes to the fighting Pokemon and the 1 with the exp share.
Give your Pokemon a Rare Candy,or give it an Exp. Share and train.
Use the EXP SHARE Method, or you can train from weak Pokemon and getting harder.
You either put a exp share on it or you put it in the front of your team and when you battle switch it (it will do better on the exp share though).
train pokemons enough to beat the elite four and then give the Pokemon that you want to train 'exp. share' until it can fight on its own.
at victory road.(especially donphan, it will give you 890 exp. points while you're pokemon holding an exp. share)
