I have herpes and my outbreaks are always on my butt. In one of two places, on my check which has left a scar and right where the tag of your underwear would rub. I thought for the longest time that it was my underwear tag causing the reaction. After several tests were negative with the scrape test they do, i had a blood test done for herpes 2 specifically and it came back positive. The tingle and itch are tell tale signs that it is herpes. I have yet in 5 years had an outbreak on my genitals.
