Water waves are appearing to naked eyes, sound waves are not appearing. there are sound waves traveling in the water and air too.

it may difficult to say Air has waves such as water waves.

What else can I help you with?

Do sound waves vibrate the air?

No. Vibrating air IS sound waves. With no atmosphere (no air, like in space), there are no sound waves.

Can sound waves travel through air?

Yes, sound waves can travel through air. Sound waves are mechanical waves that require a medium (like air, water, or solid materials) to propagate. In air, sound waves travel by compressing and rarefying air molecules as they move through the medium.

What are energy waves moving through the air?

Energy waves moving through the air are typically referred to as sound waves. These waves are produced when an object vibrates and causes the air molecules to also vibrate, creating variations in air pressure that propagate through the air as sound.

What are the 2 main type of waves?

Waves in Air give a great example: they occur in two types - compression [compressed Air] and rarefaction [expanded or decompressed Air] Waves.

Why are sound waves compressional waves?

Sound waves are compression waves because the molecules of air are compressed.

What waves causes compressional waves caused by colliding air molecules?

Sound Waves

Why do waves go up in the air?

waves go up in the air beacuse of the wind there is at the beach etc.

What do the vibrations in the air produced?

sound waves

How does sound waves work to transmit information through the air?

Sound waves transmit information through the air by vibrating molecules in the air, creating changes in air pressure that travel as waves. These waves are detected by our ears and converted into electrical signals that our brain interprets as sound.

An insect that produces waves in the water also produces waves in the air. What can thses air vibrations produce?

Oxygen

How do sound waves in air travel and interact with their surroundings?

Sound waves in air travel as vibrations that create changes in air pressure. These waves move through the air and interact with objects by either being absorbed, reflected, or transmitted. The frequency and amplitude of the sound waves determine how they are perceived by our ears.

Is air an example of a medium?

Yes, air is an example of a medium. In the context of sound or light waves, air serves as a medium through which these waves can travel.
