Honey, if the book is truly invisible, how are we supposed to count the copies sold? Last time I checked, you can't sell what you can't see. But if you're talking about Ralph Ellison's novel "Invisible Man," it's sold over 2 million copies worldwide. Hope that clears things up for ya!
Ralph Ellison was the author of one of the most influential novels of the Harlem Renaissance period, 'The Invisible Man.' The book explored the differences in northern and southern racism, and the social disconnect of the African American. Ellison, who had become disillusioned by the Communist Party after early involvement, used his platform as a writer to promote literature as a moral instrument.

he was important to us to give us another view about how harsh words and slavery can be. Though the characters view in some what over exagerating, we know deep down that we know that how he describes it is entirely right. If he had never been born, Richard Wright, another author, would never had meet him or would have encouraged Ellison to get a carrer in wrighting. We needed him and his book Invisible Man.
I can"t see what you are talking about/. Oh yes a pair of pants walking down the street- classic bad grammar. Kidding aside there are two different novels- one is science fiction (By Wells) the other is sociological and is by Ralph Ellison. apart from the titles, they have nothing in common. The notion of invisibility as a super-power was used in the character Invisible Kid in Adventure comics. there have been numerous take offs. Apart from the fact that the churchmen never did like science fiction well, draw your own conclusions- without using invisible ink.
