The only real way to get rid of them is to have a service come in and heat your home to 150 degrees this will kill all insects in your home any other treatments is throwing good money after bad. read up on all the issues with bed bugs. This is one of the reasons for avoiding olde hotels especially in Europe and even in this country Bedbugs were almost wiped out here but overseas travel has increased and there fore they are bringing their so called pets with them or you are bringing them back from a trip .When renting a room there is a black light that is portable that if used to scan the bed mattress and sheets you will be able to see if it is clean or not . The heat has never failed but while they are doing the home you must do the cars the animals and everything else they may have come into contact with all blankets and sheets are to go into dryers it is quite an undertaking but you will get rid of them. As far as using sevin would you be wanting to be sleeping sleeping in it and breathing it.
