I am a Registered Nurse who works in an Emergency Department where we frequently test for illicit drugs. Urine toxicology screens discern Adderall from methamphetamines. There is a rarely used ADHD medication that would test positive as meth, but it is not Adderall.

∙ 15y agomethamphetamine maybe? Adderall is composed of 2 different dextroamphetamine salts and 2 different amphetamine salts. It will show up on any type of drug screen as positive for "amphetamine." It will produce a negative result for "methamphetamine"
