Algeria has quite a diverse landscape. It extends from the coastline to the sand dunes in the Sahara Desert with mountainous ranges in between. Some of these ranges are pictureque and majestic reaching to great hights.With clearly firtile valleys in between.But also within the mountain ranges are high, barren plains or plateaus.
