Not really, it is more of a blend of traditions and customs.
Generally speaking the Cherokee were decedents of the Mound Builder culture, sometimes called the Mississippian culture. It is not clear, or definable, that they moved from or to the area of the country where they were 'discovered' by European settlers.

Cameroon has not influenced the culture of America at all. I would say also the culture of America has not influenced Cameroon. Cameroon has been quite influenced by French colonial culture and is now having overtures from China. (as are all countries in Africa that produce oil )
