Within the constrained circumstances of the Annex, Anne and Peter did "date" for about 2 1/2 to 3 months in early 1944 - usually meeting in the attic, or occasionally Peter's room to talk. They became an "item" to the extent that it seriously worried Mr. Frank, but almost as quickly, Anne realized that Peter was somewhat emotionally weak, and tended to lean to much on her for emotional support. They remained friends, but Anne "cooled" the relationship from that time on.

WRONG. in the version that Otto Frank (her fahther) had published, he removed all of the dirty things from it. anne did have sex with peter. she escribes it VIVIDLY in her complete diary, not normally offered in libraries but at bookstores. She also describes her sex dreams, her vagina, and her breasts in her full diary. She also describes how she wanted to touch her friend's breasts.
When i read her full diary, i lost a small portion of respect for the 'innocent' Anne Frank.
