Does Answers have any serious informative answers?

Yes, WikiAnswers and the Answers site in general does have informative answers. It is just that sometimes, you run into questions answered by children and users who choose to engage in trolling behavior. Everyone in good standing on the site tries to do their best to remove disinformation, unwarranted joke answers, insults, etc.

If someone cannot resist adding a humorous quip to a serious question, it is advised to add that below the serious answer, preferably with a heading to denote that it is humor. However, raunchy joking and smart Alec responses have no place anywhere on the site. Adding "Yo mama" to an answer adds no value to the site.
