In New Moon, Edward leaves Bella for her safety. In the book, she feels very lonely and heartless. Bella then becomes good friends with Charlie's good friend's son, Jacob Black. They start going out together, going to movies, and riding on motorcycles together. In the end, in the last book, Breaking Dawn, however, Edward and Bella get married and have a baby, Renesmee Cullen, which almost kills her- forcing Edward to turn Bella into a vampire forever.
Everyone was FOR turning Bella into a vampire except Edward and Rosalie. So the vote was 6 (Bella, Esme, Carlisle, Alice, Jasper, Emmet) to 2.
Letter Kills ended in 2006.

Because he couldn't stand the fact that Bella was marrying Edward. Also because he couldn't stand it that Bella was going to be vamped. Basically, he couldn't stand the realities of his life.
Jacob will end up imprinting (it's a wolf thing) on Bella and Edward's baby Renesme. It explains why Bella and Jacob are so connected even though she is completely in love with Edward. It sounds gross, but when you read the books it really is good.
