In order to get a Citibank student credit card, one must be a student, then have to have one student card. Another requirement to get a Citibank student card is identification.
RBS Banks do have special student accounts. They also offer loans for students for attending college. It would be advantageous to have both at the same place.
As of December 29th, 2012 Citibank no longer accpets applications for any student loans. There are options for student loans through Discover which can cover up to 100% of education costs.

Many banking institutions now offer student loans at rates that are competitive to former federal loan programs. Two banks that come to mind are Discover Bank, and Chase Bank. Both have programs that offer loans to college students. These programs need not be repaid while the student is still attending school, and the funds are paid directly to the college.
Any bsc students can apply for banking but not any bsc student can do MSc or PhD in biotechnology!
