People usually say Cotopaxi, but I reckon Chimborazo may erupt again.

The Galapagos Islands are very popular. Ecuador is also home to many impressive volcanos (both active and inactive). The most famous volcano in Ecuador is Cotopaxi. The summit of Chimborazo (Ecuador's largest mountain/volcano) is actually the furthest point from the center of the earth, eclipsing Mt. Everest. Ecuador is unique in the sense that it has beautiful beaches, impressive mountains (Andes) and encompasses the Western most region of the Amazon basin.
Cotopaxi is a stratovolcano located in the Andes mountain range, outside of Quito, Ecuador. While it is the second highest volcano in Ecuador and one of the world's higest active volcanos, it has not been voted World Heritage site.
