Actually... Fireheart/Firestar never "LIKED" Bluestar. But he did deeply care for her and respected her as great trustworthy friends, Bluestar in the other hand sees Fireheart/Firestar as her son or trustworthy friend. Nothing more than that.

BlueStar did not have romantic feelings for Fireheart, but she did value him as a loyal warrior and trusted ally in ThunderClan. She saw Fireheart as a capable deputy and eventually named him her successor as leader of the clan. Their relationship was based on mutual respect and trust rather than romantic feelings.
