Yes Globalization does affect a carpenter too.

In globalization, countries export and import with each other.

So if a country, which has less wood resources, wants wood, then it asks a country with substantial amount of wood resources. While doing this, it not only takes the raw material but also also imports the finished product because surely the cost in the wood-less country for making a chair is high because of less carpenters. But it is completely opposite in the wood-rich country because there, there are many carpenters and the cost of production is low. This is how even a carpenter is affected due to Globalization.
