Yes, He has a definite physical appearance. The Gospel of John is a great starting-point for discovering the physical nature of God in the person known as Jesus Christ. Jesus identifies Himself as God when He says He is the Son of God (see John 5:17-23; 8:57, 58; and 10:32-38, for example). John later talks about Jesus as the One "which we have seen with our eyes...and our hands have handled" (in 1 John 1:1). Why?
After Jesus suffered, died, and was resurrected--just as He had foretold--He appeared to his followers. To ensure that none of them might fall into the fallacy of believing that He was merely a spirit masquerading in a body, He told a doubter, Thomas, to "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side" (John 20:27). What was He referring to? He was inviting Thomas to handle the places where His hands had been nailed to the cross, and where His side had been wounded with a spear.
Jesus is God. He was, and is, very physical. This is wonderful news for anybody who trusts Him, because it promises a resurrection that is not a mere "reincarnation" or a gathering into a "Force." In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul the Apostle explains how closely linked our resurrection is to Jesus' resurrection. In fact, Paul says, if we humans don't get resurrected, then Jesus wasn't either, as though He was resurrected because of His humanity (verse 12). Then Paul goes on to describe what a wonderful body that new one will be.
its a god..... no one has seen him... lol
There is no description of Jesus in the Bible: He just looked like any other jew. God does not want idolatry.
God's voice is when He speaks directly, as at Mount Sinai. God's voice is the voice of prophecy. God's voice is the message of the vast wisdom in the world around us. God's voice is the voice of our soul and our conscience.
It depends on the faith. In the Christian faith God has physical form as his son born on Earth, Jesus.God the Father is a spirit ... and a spirit of a masculine gender ... ( God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.~ St. John 4:24 )
Just the Ten of Us - 1988 Voice of God 2-3 was released on: USA: 11 November 1988
Just like the "standard" christian god : a big, mature, white man with a beard.
According to Judaism: Only when appearing in a vision to the prophets. God himself, however, is without form; infinite and completely non-physical.
The cast of The Voice of God - 2011 includes: Harish Bhimani as Voice of God
There is no specific name for God's voice, but sometimes it is described as Thunder...
God speaks to us in a soft voice, are we willing to hear him?
Roman Catholic AnswerNone, there can be none, because God is Spirit, He is not physical. Our Blessed Lord became physical when He became incarnate of the Blessed Virgin Mary, but His physical part was just like us in every way, there was no mystery about it.
A good book to read about how to hear God's voice is titled "4 Keys To Hearing God's Voice" by Mark Virkler.
