This type of prayer is called The Prayer of Praise and Worship. When you pray to God in this manner you are thanking Him for being God.

Worship is probably the best aspect behind the idea that God is our Daddy! They Sing praise songs to the one and only God, and pray to him!
Thank God for what he hasn't done yet, but will do. God loves your praise and thanking him for what he will do to you gives more faith :)
You absolutely do not need to 'pray in a lengthy way'. Here are some of the shortest prayers that many people say:Amen.God!Praise God!Help me!Please, God! (usually said in earnest as Please (do this or don't do that) God!God, help me! (or Help me, God!)Save her (him), God.I'll do ANYthing God.Where are you God?Let me know you are there, God.I believe in you.I trust in you.Thank you, God.My Lord and Savior!Hallelujah! Praise God!If you will just (do) xxx... I will....Don't forsake me.
It depends. If you visit your church to praise God. Or if you read the bible daily and pray to keep in touch with God. you also have to have alot of faith, trust, and love inside of your heart (where Jesus lives). And you will notice things starting to change and you will feel heaven. However if you read the bible and pray daily and go to church every Sunday but you still do not feel any changes, I suggest you ask your church to pray for you and ask for forgiveness in front of God. Also try evangilizing and be more involved in the praise of the church. Always keep yourself inside his presence. May God Bless you!!!
Most will praise God after them or a loved one survives a traumatic experience. Others praise God every day. A good example, it is proven that if you praise God or give thanks before a meal, your body will receive more nutrients from the food. Human's minds are powerful, praising God can give humans more strength on good days and in bad times.
