As of now, there is limited public information about her current singing activities.
I think she isn't considered a punk singer. She is more of a pop singer though she does sing more punk songs in her band NO DOUBT.
Gwen Stefani has a versatile voice and a unique style, which could bring a fresh take to "Rum and Coca Cola" by the Andrews Sisters. While the original song has a distinct vintage charm, Stefani's pop and ska influences might add a modern twist. Her ability to adapt to various genres suggests she could successfully reinterpret the classic while paying homage to its roots.

I know for a fact I've heard Jimi Hendrix sing Sweet Melissa, It's an Almond Bros song? Or is it? Jimi Hendrix did sing Sweet Melissa.
Her brother was in a band and his dear friend committed suicide, so Gwen took over after her brother couldn't go on. Or so I've heard ;-) WRONG!! Her brother would always play the piano and he would make her sing whem she would watch tv (brady bunch). Her bro and his friend started a band and she sang backup vocals. Once the lead singer commited suicide, the band wasn't sure of they should go on, but they did in honor of John Spence (former lead singer), and Gwen then became the lead singer.
