An interesting question. The answer depends, of course, on what you mean.

A simple search of the New Testament does not turn up an instance of Jesus saying, "Praise God." If we dig deeper, there appears to be at least one instance of Jesus praising God, and that's found in Matthew 11:

[25] At that time Jesus declared, "I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes;

[26] yea, Father, for such was thy gracious will."

But, in this case, does gratitude count as an expression of praise? In part perhaps. But it also seems to fall short of what is meant by the question above.

If the question is meant to throw some light on whether or not Jesus should have praised or worshiped God as we do, then he may not have done so because of his own special relationship to God, as his only begotten son and as a part of the triune God himself. Would that be considered self-praise? It's a theological question that is difficult for us to answer.

The verses that follow the passage in Matthew 11 seem to offer a comment on this situation, though:

". . . . [27] All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

[28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

It is through this special relationship that we are saved. We know Jesus and praise him for revealing the Father to us, as only he can.

Regardless of whether Jesus praises God himself, he does instructs us to praise God in the Lord's prayer, found in both Matthew 6 and Luke 11:

"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name."

This is, if nothing else, what it means to praise God, according to Jesus.

Did Jesus' mother Mary say her son was God or the son of God?

Mary is the mother of the SON of God. although the Holy Trinity states that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one, Jesus is technically God's son. There is nothing in the scriptures that state that Mary ever mentioned her son was the son of God. However, she alludes to it in her beautiful prayer of praise she says to St. Elizabeth when she visited her before the birth of John the Baptist. "My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God, my savior . . . " Also known as the Magnificat.

What is god's specific plan for us?

It depends on who "us" is. According to the bible if you are a believer (Christian) a follower of God and Jesus Christ, God has a specific plan for you, but I cannot say what that is as God's plan for each of us is different. In the end however we are to bring Praise, honor and glory to God in what ever we do. If the "us" is an unbeliever, God's plan surely must be to make you a believer in Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. If this fails (your fault) God's plan is for you to spend an eternity (forever) out of His sight and mind. You will be sent to the Lake of Fire. And that is specific.

How many times did Jesus laugh?

I do not think Jesus ever laughed in his life, the reason I say this is that Jesus was sad because his children have sinned and gone away from god. No paintings show Jesus smiling either.
