Carla. She's been appearing in Jon & Kate Plus 8 since season 1, and in an episode Kate says she's known her for "her entire life." (Kate's life, that is.) I don't know how she knows her, but she's there. In fact, Carla is the only one of Jon & Kate's friends/family members that appeared in the first 3 seasons that is still around. Kate has one known friend, named Jamie, who does not live in Pennsylvania. Kate was friends with a writer named Beth Carson (who wrote kate's first book) and Kate's sister in law Jodi Kreider, but Kate ended her friendships with both women. Kate does not belong to any local organizations and she has not attended church in Berks County in quite some time (at least a year.) She is not known to have any female friends in her community of Wernersville PA.

We know she talks to, or has previously talked to her brother Kevin, who is married to Jodi. They have 4 kids; Ashtyn, Braden, Alyssa and Bennett (Ben/Benny). It is said they have lost contact now, nobody knows if it's true or not.

Her other siblings are Christen, Kendra and Clairissa, and she has mentioned most of them in her book Multiple Blessings, but I don't know if she still keeps in touch with them.
