Yes, she does mean it. She has confused feelings for awhile, but then they get married.
She loves him i guess
They fight in the rebellion if this is what you mean.
When Katniss was hungry she looked through Peeta's trash and is mean mother drove her away. Then Peeta intentionally burned loaves and took a beating so he could give them to Katniss. (Also they were in the same Kindergarden school and above and Peeta noticed her but she didn't notice him). Katniss finds Peeta in the book, right after Claudius Templesmith announces 2 tributes can win. She finds him on accident really, just following the stream, hoping it will lead to him and almost steps on him because he was camouflaged so well.
Do you mean after the fight in the first book? If so, what happens is Peeta and Katniss go on the Victory Tour. Then Peeta comes to Katniss to ask if they would like to be friends because they can't go on being enemies.
That depends. What do you mean by first event? If you mean the cornucopia, then it makes Katniss become angry/annoyed at Peeta. If you mean when he joins the Careers, then it makes Katniss hate Peeta and wish for his death. If you have a different event in mind, you need to be more specific.
She means FoxFace was your target you were supposed to kill here
Solemn, trustworthy, shy, to a point. But, she's not very trusting, or nice, really. She's not mean, just not nice. Except to Rue, and Primrose, and Peeta, maybe Gale. Katniss can be a handful, but she's a great, tough heroine nonetheless.
1+2=I dont know
Peeta Mellark has 16 and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He is very strong. Peeta is the baker's son. He is very nice and kind. Peeta also has been in love with Katniss since he was 5.
It means that when Peeta is being kind to Katniss, it's harder for her to hate him, and if she doesn't hate him, she can't kill him. She needs to kill him if she wants to win The Hunger Games.
Beautiful and shiny, the word iridescent was used to describe the pearl that Peeta gave Katniss.
If you mean the event they left for in the beginning, it was the Victory Tour
