I've heard rumors that Square Enix stopped all work on Kingdom Hearts 3 and will probably come out in 2009 or 2010.
it's also true that you'll not play as Sora, Riku, or Kairi.
But the characters are Ven (represents Sora), Terra (Riku) , and Aqua (Kairi)

Unlike the first Kingdom Hearts, the highest level that you can get in Kingdom Hearts II is level 99. This is why the experience bar no longer displays the next level.
