Not in any of the live-action movies although he came close to it in "Superman Returns". He did die in the animated movie "Superman/ Doomsday" which was an adaptation of the story where he gets killed fighting the intergalactic monster and later comes back to life.
He has not ever died in any of the films that have been made so far.
No- because the reboot is going to have a sequel and a Justice League spin-off.
No.
That has not ever happened and apparently will not since no more movies are going to be made for that series. Sylvestor Stallone wanted his character to be killed off at the end of "Rocky 5"- but the producers talked him out of it because they said Rocky Balboa is an American icon and having him die would be like doing just that to Superman. The comic book where Superman fought Doomsday and got killed came out shortly after.
In the movie spider man 3 venom was killed by a grenade from the new goblin.
Mongo is a big gingerbread man that appears in the movie "Shrek 2." It is not known for sure if he dies in the movie but he does disappear.
Gwen Stacy, who was Peter Parker's/Spider-Man's on-off girlfriend in the movie 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', does doe at the end of the movie. She falls from a height and Peter is unable to save her, despite trying to, before she hits the ground.
Christopher Reeves had an accident while riding a horse. He fell off in a bad way (his foot got caught in a stirrup), and broke his neck. He was paralysed as a result but survived for many years. Eventually the health problems resulting from the spinal injury killed him. This was very tragic, since he was a great actor and by all reports, a really nice person too.
Yes- Superman ended up having no choice but to break his neck because he was about to murder an entire family.
