Several years ago their policy was to send any violation to the violator's home state. Then, it was up to your state's own policies as to whether it was put on your record there. They called it reciprocating. I'm sure Minnesota hasn't changed and still will send them. The question you may ask your Drivers License agency is if they reciprocate with other states as far as tickets. I think most do now.
