No matter what you read, Satan can not rapture people
The premise for the question is all wrong as it assumes Satan or the Devil had any control in the destiny of Jesus Christ. Matthew pointed to Jesus as the royal Messiah who faced His destiny in complete control of the situation. For Matthew, the cross inaugurated the last days when the power of death is broken and salvation is poured out on all people. Jesus called Satan the "ruler of this world" but only as He spoke of Satan's judgment and defeat (John 12:31; 16:11) because he does not have power over Jesus (John 14:30). Jesus came into this world to "destroy the works of the Devil" (1 John 3:8). The Cross was a decisive victory or Satan and Satan's host (Col. 2:15). This victory ensured that countless numbers would be delivered from the dominion of darkness and transferred to the Kingdom of Christ (Col. 1:13).
The word Satan should be capitalized because it is a proper noun. Although some people may refuse to capitalize the word as they believe it gives Satan "power" or "status".
Different people have different beliefs. The same way one believes in God or another higher power, Satan worshipers believe this is their savior.
That Satan hold great power over all the earth is true, but this does not mean that we have to not trust the KJV of the bible and it's words of wisdom. It is the people who are at fault and not the Word. The words of truth that the bible contains will always be there for us to use as a guide in our lives, then as you suggest so is Satan. Choose ye this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
God is in power of all.
Satan, like many people, was inspired by lust for power. Lust for power is what causes many people to be corrupted. He wanted to be greater than God and, of course, failed. ---------- 1. Like sinning a tiniest amt. 2. Just because they could.
If Jesus had bowed down to Satan then the plan of the Father would have been foiled. Satan would have won his battle against all righteousness. We learn that Satan tempts the all who have power over the people. You have only to look at the state of the world today to see that Satan and his angels seem to be winning the battle. No one is free from government control. If Satan could not have Christ then he will have others who are in power. He tried the same with Moses but Moses told him to get hence. Satan will tempt anyone if he thought that he could get the people on his side.
Matthew Mullins was never a Power Ranger.
Christian belief attributes a great deal of power to Satan, but always assumes that Satan will not use those powers to kill anyone. In the Book of Job, God instructed Satan to do any manner of evil to the person of Job, but to stop short of actually killing him. The Books of Matthew and Luke say that Satan lifted Jesus up and placed him on a pinnacle of the temple - if Satan can do that, he can pick an ordinary person up and drop him from a great height.Christianity has more to gain by focussing our fear of Satan on the spiritual and eternal hellfire than on the possibility that he might kill someone..
There is no specific mention of Jesus rebuking Satan out of people in the Bible. However, Jesus did cast out demons from individuals on multiple occasions as a demonstration of his power and authority over evil forces.
The book of Job is a unique book because it's focus is the power that Satan has over man. It shows that Satan has to ask permission from God to do anything on earth. God has power over what Satan can and can't do.
