yes, both near and mello were in death note 3: L change the world. at the end L gives the boy the name near, he be comes L's heir because he is a math genius, and mello in the move is a school girl named Maki(although they dont ever anounce her as mello in the movie, you can tell because she wants to kill for revenge, and has a bobbed hair cut)
What do you search to find where Mello kills Near?
...have you read the manga? Or watched the anime? EVER????Dude... Near doesn't even die. I suggest that you ask whomever informed you that Mello murdered Near where they got the drugs that they're on, because Mello didn't even /really/ hate Near, deep down.Seriously... who told you this?!!!!!! Does Matt like mello?
Death Note is not a romance. I support the pairing Matt/Mello fully, because it seems quite possible and compatible with the canon. I honestly can't see Mello dating anyone else (mention Mello/Near and I shall strangle you), and they did address each other with very familiar honorifics in the Japanese manga and anime, but there was no mention of either of them having anysort of romantic relationship with anyone. Honestly, could Matt have liked Mello? The guy was only in two episodes in the anime, and about ten panels in the manga.It's not exactly easy to tell.A question like this is left up to the fan's interpretation. It's easy to argue that Mello is gay, and fairly easy to argue that point for Matt as well. But seriously, no one's ever gonna know, unless the creator comes out and says, 'They loved each other'.

All the listed Whammy kids from Death Note are: L (L Lawliet) Mello (Micheal Keehl) Matt (Mail Jeevas) Near Li (Linda) Beyond Birthday A A Was only metioned very quickly in the books. A was the fourth kid that was to succeed L Lawliet, but killed himself from the pressure of having to deal with Matt, Mello, and Near. His appearance was never shown but some have chosen him to have white hair (like near's) and a green sweater. He had very little self confidence and was pushed around a lot by Beyond Birthday. Very little information is known about him. Beyond Birthday is A mass murderer in the book 'Death Note: Another Note'. Beyond Birthday looked exactly like L and the only true picture of him was in the first few pages of 'Death Note: Another Note', but that's only because he wore lots of make-up to hide is true figure. The difference between B and L is that Beyond Birthday wanted to become L's successor by creating a case that L himself would never firgure out, and Beyond Birthday had gotten the Shinigami Eyes from Birth, so he qualifies himself as a Shinigami. He tried to commit suicide by lighting himself on fire, but was caught and put in jail. He died later from a heart attack Linda, like A, was only metioned a bit in the book. Her ability was that she was a really great artist, and could match people on paper like a photograph. She had the only picture of Mello ever made. That picture was in Near's grasp for a short while. Untill Mello came and took it from Near by gun-point. No one knows how she died, or if she's still alive. Matt wasn't a big hit in the stories; he wasn't the main character. But in the minds of fangirls he became a big thing on the internet. Matt was Mello's best friend and helped him with most of the "techy-stuff". Matt was also a gamer and a smoker. In most of the show, he was pictured either smoking or watching multiple screens and playing a video game, sometimes all at once. He died by being shot many times by the Japanese Police while capturing Takada- his last words being "I'm connected to Takada's kidnapper, so you won't shoo-". In his last scene, he was pictured dead on the hood of a red car with a cigarette in his mouth. Mello, L, and Near are very important characters in the story, so you should know lots about them already, hoped this helped!
