To purchase non-ethanol gas in New York, you can use resources like the Pure Gas website, which provides a list of stations offering ethanol-free fuel. Many marinas and some independent gas stations often carry non-ethanol options, particularly in areas near water bodies where boats are used. It's advisable to call ahead to confirm availability, as not all stations consistently stock it. Additionally, you can check with local automotive or boating communities for recommendations on where to find non-ethanol gas.
You can only use the gas that is blended with ethanol. 90 % gas 10 % ethanol. You can not use the new 85% ethanol 15 % gas; this will eat the seals on your fuel system. I hope this helps you. Mark
Help, Need to find gas brands that DO NOT have ethanol. It not well liked by boat owners. In Illinois they all have ethanol. State tax break.
Chlorine is a gas at 30°C and ethanol is a liquid at 30°C.
TICKER SYMBOL FOR NY STATE ELEC AND GAS IS NGE
At this time all gas stations sell gas with ethanol in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York. The last small independent stations that sold 100% pure gasoline stopped selling it about November 15, 2010. However some gas station are charging .10, .15 and even .25 cents more for gas that they say does not contain ethanol -----BUT IT DOES. THE NON ETHANOL THAT WAS IN THEIR TANKS RAN OUT WEEKS AGO AND THEY UP THE PRICE AND SAID THEY DO NOT HAVE IT. I BOUGHT A OFFICIAL TEST KIT AND IT SHOW THEIR GAS DOES HAVE ETHANOL IN IT EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE CHARGING MORE AND SAYING IT DOES NOT CONTAIN ETHANOL. BE CAREFUL.
what is the cost of a gallon of gas in new york city
I have found a gas station in Lake Placid that still sells ethanol free gasoline. The number of stations that provide this service are dwindling fast. I have a 2004 Prius and when I fill up with ethanol free gas I get about 46-50 mpg. When I use E10 I get about 10% less, so I have to buy 10% more gasoline! Please post the location of any other stations that have ethanol free.
