pull out your #8 fuse its a 15 amp fuse and is located inside the car in my case anyways that's the only way I can shut mine off now thanks to the faulty multi switch
There is only 1 fuse block on this vehicle. If the dash lights are not or only half of them are working remove components and replace the bulbs.the fuse box is on the dr side of dash under the dash by the door also be sure the dash light dimmer control is not turned off.
The instrument panel lights are controlled by the same fuse as the tail lights which is a 15 amp fuse located in the panel in the engine compartment adjacent to the battery. The fuse is only labeled for the tail lights.
Yes, on the 2001 expedition, there is only one fuse for both lights on the plate lite.
check the fuses..sounds like you have a blown fuse for the brak lights. look in the fuse box it's located there.
the fuse should be for all brake lights and tail lights if only one is out its a bulb
Are you saying your tail lights themselves do not work and only the brake lights work. If that is the case, check the fuse, and then check the tail light bulbs.
No the dash lights should be with your parking lights.comment2: They are on separate circuits. Power usually goes from the "taillight fuse" to a small 5 amp dash light fuse and then to the dash dimmer wheel or knob. Then it feeds the dash lights. A blown tail light fuse makes the dash lights go out also. A blown dash fuse only affects the dash lights.
check the fuses - there is no fuse for the headlights.
In the fuse box...it will be labeled panel, or cluster , if the fuse is okies its the light switch. What if it is only half of the lights on the instrument panel that are out? Just the cold/hot dial and 5 buttons?
The most common cause of the shifter to be stuck in park is a broken spring retainer in the shifter assembly. The only fuse that could cause that would be the brake lights fuse. If you have brake lights, it is not a fuse problem.
If it's the the dash lights that your looking for it's the only 5A fuse in box. Should be in the second row from the bottom.
