HYDROCOD/APAP TAB 5-325 is a generic medication for NORCO TAB 5-325MG. It reacts with acetaminophen, hydrocodone, other opiates (narcotocs) or other components of this medicine. It may impair mental and or/physical ability. Use caution when driving and performing tasks that require alertness. It can be refilled, but only by the pharmacy calling the doctor's office.

The opiate in Norco, Hydrocodone, contains Codeine and TheBaine, it doesn't contain Morphine.
The principal constituent of Norco, hydrocodone, has the same basic structure as morphine, but is less potent and metabolized by different enzymes.

∙ 12y agoNo, not at all. Those are two completely different pain killers. oxycodone aka percocet, tylox, roxicet, ect. morphine aka mscontin, kadian ect. Morphine's side effects are much worse than those of oxycodone. Also Oxycontin is oxycone extended release. You can go to Pharmer.org and find out all about it.

∙ 13y agoI believe it does, but, am not 100% certain. Just know that it is given for mild to moderate pain depending upon an individual's medical history, current symptoms, pain tolerance & past resposes to it if ever having needed something prescribed for pain or severe coughing.

∙ 8y agoThere's no such thing a Norco Percocet. Narco is one opioid and Percocet (oxycodone) is another. Neither contains morphine.

no. norco is hydrocodone not morphine. morphine is stronger however norco 10/325 is the strongest dose of norco. Norco is for moderate pain and morphine for moderate to severe pain. ER also means extended release where norco is not extended. Please be aware that norco has acetaminophen in it which you should never exceed 4000mg\24 hours.
Is there a difference between norco and heroine on a UA?
I take Norco 10/325s and therefore I get tested pretty regularly. I can tell you that on a 10 or even 5 panel screen Norco will ALWAYS be an opiate. Heroin is the same as Morphine basically and comes up as synthetic morphine. And if it isn't supposed to be there they send it out to check it closer and will know if it's morphine or heroine.
