Most drug tests don't test for anti-depressants, because there isn't really a need to.So no. It does NOT give a false positive for anything like meth, pot, cocaine, opiates, etc. If you have a prescription for Paxil then I definately wouldn't worry!

Some insurance companies screen for non-abused pharmaceuticals such as Paxil in order to make sure you are not hiding part of your medical history.

The common "drug screen" for abused drugs done by employers and governments does not screen for Paxil.
