Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) does not by itself cause added difficulty losing weight. Insulin resistance (IR) causes PCOS. Insulin resistance makes it harder to lose weight, because a high insulin level: 1. Makes every bit of sugar from the carbohydrates you eat go into the cells of your body. 2. Stimulates your appetite. For an excellent discussion of PCOS and its relationship to insulin resistance, see the "Pathogenesis" portion of the following web page:

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) can cause depression, but it is not a symptom of the condition. PCOS causes male pattern balding, excessive hair growth, acne, weight gain, and an irregular period. All of which would cause any woman to become depressed.
If you are a female you may have a condition called PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian syndrome) as weight gain and acne are two of the symptoms associated with it. You should see your Doctor.

Well it depends on what you want to do and why. If you want to start taking birth control pills for contraception then that is a whole other conversation then just wanting to do something for your health. If you are irregular you need to talk to the doctor about the possibiliy of having poly cystic ovarian syndrome.
Chronic fatigue syndrome
Two genetic disorders are Turner's syndrome and cystic fibrosis.
Depends on your age, weight, and other physical problems. An irregular cycle could mean many different things. Your hormones may be off. It could be anything from anemia to poly cystic ovarian syndrome. You should speak to you gynecologist.
