No. He is supposed to return for his seventh year but at the end of Half-Blood Prince he told Ron and Hermione he wouldn't return because he needed to destroy all the Horcruxes and kill Voldemort.
Voldemort takes control of the wizarding world and attendance at Hogwarts is made mandatory so that Voldemort and the Death Eaters can capture all muggle-borns and keep all under aged wizards under control. Out of the trio only Ron could go back to school without being killed - Hermione would have been sent to Azkaban because she 'stole magic' and Harry would have been handed to Voldemort. However they do end up at Hogwarts for the final battle.
Harry and Ron never went back for their seventh year but Hermione did.
